The standard download of Duplicate Scorer includes the ability to calculate English Bridge Union Master Points. If you organise competitions under the auspices of a different national governing body you may still be able to calculate Master Points for your region using an optional Master Points Calculator module.
Duplicate Scorer version 17.8.21 and Club Database Manager version 1.3.11 and all later versions include the ability to use optional Master Points Calculators. Please ensure you have a sufficiently recent version of Duplicate Scorer and, if used, Club Database Manager before proceeding.
Master Points Calculators for the regions listed below can be installed by clicking on the national governing body name. It is anticipated that the number of available Master Point Calculators will increase with time
If your national governing body isn't listed above that means I don't have a Master Points calculator for your nationality yet. Don't despair. There are two options. First you could ask me to consider producing one. I cannot offer any guarantees. It depends on available resources and level of demand. I may have to charge a small fee.
The second option is to write your own. If you, or someone you know, are a competent Microsoft Visual Basic programmer then writing your own Master Points Calculator is easy. I can provide a skeleton VB project and all the information you need. Provided you are familiar with your local Master Points rules you should have it up and running in no time. All I would ask is that you let me have a copy of the finished product, including source and that you grant me the right to post the working Master Points Calculator on this web page for free download.
